Cadavre Exquis 2022

Made in collaboration with Éric and Alex Dubois at Domaine la Franchaie in the Loire. The label began as an unfinished sketch by their son Ferdinand, partly coloured in by our daughter Rosalie — a fitting picture of a wine passed from grower to winemaker, hence the name “Cadavre Exquis”.

Made from directly pressed Plantet, Villard Noir and “Monique”, then fermented and aged for a year in a stainless steel tank in our Ottignies cellar. Bottled in September 2023 with 8 grams of residual sugar.

A deep rosé: easy to drink, fresh, tangy and aromatic. It will finish dry, with a gentle fizz.
